I am interested in many things holistic and embarked on that journey of discovery nearly 10 years ago, using homeopathy and aromatherapy to help to support my own health and healing, after seeing how complementary therapies had helped one of my cats. I realised that I’d do what I could to help one of my animals or another person, but not myself, and it was time to help myself. A year or so later a medium, Sue Winter, explained to me how to meditate and helped me to develop psychically. This process helped me to reconnect with myself and began a process of enabling me to learn to listen and begin to trust myself.
Self-employment followed 5 years ago, as a Reiki practitioner and intuitive Tarot Reader. I also became a product reviewer for the Holisticshop, a successful holistic on-line shop. I went to Wrexham Training, Llysfasi college and qualified in Crystal and Colour Therapy and provided Reiki treatments on a voluntary basis at Rainbow Therapies. I produced a leaflet for a Millenium Award, ‘A Holistic Approach to Better Mental Health’ which was designed to provide a little information about Holistic Therapies in support of better mental health.
I became a Reiki Master Teacher in a few Reiki systems (see below) and I feel very much at peace when working with Reiki energy. After some experience of doing Tarot Readings and related work in that area, I decided that Holistic work is my main focus for now, with mindful emphasis on my own continued healing and development.
I studied Integrative Counselling to Certificate level (this does not qualify me as a counsellor, but means I am a better listener than I was before the course) and I also gained Levels 2 &3 in Adult Mental Health & Illness.
I have more recently qualified in Holistic Therapies which includes Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Swedish Massage.
I live with my partner Lee in North Wales. I enjoy writing, creative endeavours, reading, gardening and appreciate wildlife, nature and watching the birds in the garden. I am interested in mental health issues and personal development. I attend the gym and also enjoy walking our two dogs, Tansy & Jake. Animals are very important to me in my life and my partner and I also have two cats Harriet & Ellie, and Jojo the Angel hen.
